Our Services
In-Person Consultation: $100
Every training plan begins with a 45 minute consultation. During this consultation we will discuss your goals and how best to reach them.
I will also outline which training package may best serve you on your training journey.
A consultation is required before purchase of any membership or package.
Each consultation requires a $50 non-refundable deposit.
Virtual Consultation: $100
Virtual consultations are 1 hour consultations that cut out the stress of your dog being worried about a stranger in your home.
We'll talk about your goals and I'll outline the best training package to reach them.
A virtual consultation is required before purchase of any membership or package for dogs displaying human or dog aggression.
Each consultation requires a $50 non-refundable deposit.
About Your Trainer
Training and teaching as a passion not just a career
From a young age, Jared knew he wanted to work with animals. Like many other trainers he grew up with dogs his whole life. He knew he couldn't live life without the joy they bring to our lives.
Jared spent a few years teaching math to middle schoolers before he decided to combine his passion for teaching with his passion for animals. Never one for half-measures, he took the plunge and dedicated himself to learning about animal behavior and training. This background of both human and animal learning gives Jared a unique perspective. He works with "the team" not just the pup!
Like many others Jared didn't know the importance of training your dogs until he met his Belgian Malinois, Cookie. She was a challenge! Every dog has something to teach you and Jared is eager to share all the lessons Cookie (and every dog after her) has taught him with you.

Q:
Do you offer guarantees with your services?
I do not offer any guarantees with any services provided. Dogs are individuals and as such can be unpredictable. It is impossible to guarantee a change in behavior or a permanent change in behavior when you are working with sentient creatures.
What I can guarantee is that the information and training provided will change the way you and your pup communicate and live together.
Q:
Why can't I purchase a single session?
After extensive experience it has become clear that single sessions increase stress for everyone involved and do not provide the results that make me proud to be a dog trainer. I do not offer quick fixes. I guide you and your dog towards building a stronger bond and long lasting results. The 4-session minimum I offer allows for progress to be made towards the goals we have set together without worrying if we have a next session coming up.
Q:
What is your cancellation policy?
Private Lessons: To maintain a high quality of service I am unable to reschedule or offer a refund for sessions cancelled within a 24 hour period of the initial appointment time. No refunds or credits will be offered for appointments that are missed without prior warning.
In the unlikely case of trainer cancellation, the appointments will be rescheduled for a later time.
Q:
Should I start with in-person or virtual training?
Virtual training is required for dogs displaying dog or human aggression for, at minimum, the consultation and first session. Any additional virtual training will be required on a case-by-case basis. I set this requirement for the safety of everyone involved.
I may also recommend virtual training if your dog is human reactive or extremely timid. Virtual training can be a great way to build confidence before I introduce myself in these cases.
