Q:
Do you offer guarantees with your services?
I do not offer any guarantees with any services provided. Dogs are individuals and as such can be unpredictable. It is impossible to guarantee a change in behavior or a permanent change in behavior when you are working with sentient creatures.
What I can guarantee is that the information and training provided will change the way you and your pup communicate and live together.
Q:
Why can't I purchase a single session?
After extensive experience it has become clear that single sessions increase stress for everyone involved and do not provide the results that make me proud to be a dog trainer. I do not offer quick fixes. I guide you and your dog towards building a stronger bond and long lasting results. The 4-session minimum I offer allows for progress to be made towards the goals we have set together without worrying if we have a next session coming up.
Q:
What is your cancellation policy?
Private Lessons: To maintain a high quality of service I am unable to reschedule or offer a refund for sessions cancelled within a 24 hour period of the initial appointment time. No refunds or credits will be offered for appointments that are missed without prior warning.
In the unlikely case of trainer cancellation, the appointments will be rescheduled for a later time.
Q:
Should I start with in-person or virtual training?
Virtual training is required for dogs displaying dog or human aggression for, at minimum, the consultation and first session. Any additional virtual training will be required on a case-by-case basis. I set this requirement for the safety of everyone involved.
I may also recommend virtual training if your dog is human reactive or extremely timid. Virtual training can be a great way to build confidence before I introduce myself in these cases.
